We all have our own opinions about everything. I like to voice mine. So I’ve created my own soap box. Since I love video, and I love talking and I love having an outlet to let it all out. I created a new webisode or webseries or what every you want to call it. Don’t go to the bath room during the video or you might miss something.

MIA for a Minute

Hello WP readers and fellow bloggers. If you haven’t notice I have been on a long break. Last year when I started this blog I had a lot of goals, and high hopes. As I am sure I am not the only one.

I had to take some time and figure things out. Such as why I was doing this blog thing. What could I focus on and stuff like that. I did take advantage of my time and educate myself, as well as pimp out my skills.

So now I am going to pay some attention to my blog. But I do have a complaint.  Yeah a COMPLAINT. It’s the spammers, the fake people who leave a comment or two; the companies that leave back links and forward links and all the jazz.

I would like to respond to all that leave a comment. And I would like to connect with my audience. But the truth is I can’t filter out enough crap to do so. So if you are one of my followers and you leave a comment and it does not get posted. It’s because I could not tell who was spamming and who was not.

I know there is a program to rid the spammers, yet I don’t have extra money to spend on a none revenue producing blog. I just don’t got it. So it is easier to DELETE all spam.

Well I hope my followers understand my absence and visit this blog every once in a while. In the meantime, I will post from time to time on things I think might be worth a little more than a share button.

Thanks for stopping by for minute.

Hi Bloggers, Readers and All Who Pass Through!

All Change is Good

This is my attempt at Freestyle writing. The topic is Change.

Every day I make a change. I change my clothes day to day. I change my shoes, my socks my undies. Change is consistent with all of us. Over the past few weeks I have contemplated change for my blog, website, You Tube show etc, etc. The purpose of all this is to adjust for my audience.

I am constantly reading blogs, advice and watching videos about what works, what doesn’t work and why. I get several news letters a day about tips, tricks, spins, and zings that will WoW, Awe and make my numbers go through the roof. Yet what I see is change. I see that I have to change my platform design. I must change colors, change fonts, change looks and appearances; Change style of writing and so much more. I ask is this the kind of change that is needed to be a Social Media Super STAR? And if all these experts, gurus, geniuses and specialist have the answers to online marketing then, WHY ARE MORE PEOPLE CREATING CONTENT ABOUT THE SUBJECT? [Yes I know I am screaming]

I have worked myself into a tizzy trying to make changes that may not necessarily need to be made. The truth is I just want to talk. I want to share my experiences online. I want to meet different people without leaving the comfort of my home. I want to entertain people by creating video that they like and enjoy watching on a dull day. And making a little rainy day change in the process [because that is the most I have made thus far] doesn’t hurt.  I want to help people learn something, whether it be, how to upload a song to how to download a video.

My focus when I started this project was to help artist find exposure. I wanted to build audiences for people with talent and build my own audience. Over these past months I have achieved great things. I have met people I never thought I’d even cross paths with driving down the highway.

So to conclude this freestyle about Change, I think I will change my direction, one more time. This time I’m changing to fit my desires and goal. Because truth is, no one really knows what’s going on. As long as we have fun doing it, who cares.

Thanks for stopping by and reading my blog. More shows, reviews and a few tutorials are on the way. So stay tuned and Come Experience Online with Quepea!

Every few years the voices of the past, present and future come together and speak to the people. This Year on June 15th 2012 The ICONS, INVENTORS and SUPER STARS of HIP HOP tell the world how they “Reinvented Everything” in the movie “Something From Nothing: The Art Of Rap”. Look here for updates, reviews and news. This is a repost from the blog NoCommentMusic.

Something from Nothing - The Art of Rap

Ice-T takes us on an intimate journey into the heart and soul of hip-hop with the legends of rap music.  This performance documentary goes beyond the stardom and the bling, to explore what goes on inside the minds, and erupts from the lips, of the grandmasters of rap.

Recognised as the Godfather of Gangsta Rap , Ice-T is granted unparalleled access to the personal lives of the masters of this artform that he credits for saving his life.  Interspersed with the performer’s insightful, touching, and often funny revelations are classic raps, freestyle rhymes, and never before heard acapellas straight from the mouths of the creators.  What emerges is a better understanding of, and a tribute to, an original American art form that brought poetry to a new generation.

Hello Bloggers and Peeps!

Each of us has a desire to do more, be more and succeed. This blog and my You Tube channel along with the other social networking platforms I belong to, were merged together because of a desire I have.
Over the years I have witnessed the rising of a movement. The Independent Artist Movement, or as I like to call it the Indie Movement, and it is gaining a presence within the internet world. I would like to be a major contributor to that movement.

This post is to ask you the internet world for assistance in doing just that. My mission is to grow the audience of the Indie Artist Movement. In addition create a place that gives a fresh look at a group that is keeping the world of art alive.

For many years, the Corporate Giants have tried to create a cookie cutting machine that will produce art as if it were made by robots. This is not what artistic expression is about. I believe that you can not cookie cut art in any way.

I am asking for you my followers, friends, family, and peers to help me build this community. Help by sharing my post on this blog, visit my You Tube Channel and subscribe, like and comment. Go visit my Face book page and LIKE and join a great community. Connect with me in TweetTown and follow my post. Also join me in the Google+ circle.

I have included a Make A Donation button located in the side bar to the right, for anyone that believes in supporting the cause. The reason for this button is to help me raise money for give away items. My budget can not handle all the great ideas I have, therefore I am humbly reaching out to my audience. My first wish is to purchase some novelty bracelets of 1000 @ thirteen cents (.13 cents) each. With that I will be giving away these items to attendees of various Shows I attend like the Bonneroo Music Festival, or the Local Battle of the Bands Event.

Here is a link to the company that offers these items and more. 24Hour Wrist Bands . When I raise the funds to purchase these items I will create a video and show everyone what I am doing and send out a special gift for each donation.

Thanks for your support. I appreciate all !

If you like Techno music and scary movies you may like there sound. But don’t take my word for it. Watch for yourself and decided if you want to connect more with this group.

Are you still buying CD’s or downloading mp3’s?

Do you seek out new music or wait for the Radio DJ to give you the top 10?

Is Hip Hop/Rap being played or played out?

I ask these questions because according to news, analyst and experts, the people of the world are i-tuning, amazoning and digitized. Fans get there music, online. Fans make their own choices. The public has taken control of what they listen to, what they watch and when.

I disagree with that. I do agree that we as a nation have more ways to choose. We no longer have to rely on TV or Radio to give us the entertainer or entertainment. The world wide web has opened the borders of the world and allows us to seek out what we want and how we want it.

New technology is developed by the second. And with that said, how fast are the fans keeping up with it? If you can’t get your download to play, or load onto your mp3 player then what good is downloading it? If the movie or show you like so much has to buffer for twenty minutes before it plays, then why watch? And if the 4G network barely dribbles data to your mobile device than why are you trying to watch a movie on it anyway?

Fans, Public, People of the new technology what is really going on? All this fancy stuff and few people know how to work it.

Independent Artist if you want to sell a song; have people download your mp3. Then it is VITAL you help your fans learn how to do it if they don’t know how.

And on that note. Quepea will be creating some How To’s to help with that, in the near future.
